Built to hold as little of your data as possible.
CastDeck’s job is to get you into meetings, not to collect your life. We designed it around a simple principle: the less we hold, the less there is to lose. Here’s exactly how that works.
Your calendar never becomes our product.
We read your Google Calendar on a read-only basis, only to show your agenda and launch your meetings. We don’t sell it, we don’t use it for advertising, and we don’t share it. Your meeting details — titles, attendees, times — stay on your devices and travel only as far as your own Mac, to open the call.
The relay carries a launch, not your data.
When you tap to launch, your phone sends a short instruction to your own paired Mac through an always-on cloud relay. It’s used in the moment to open the meeting and isn’t warehoused for analytics. The Mac helper is a free companion that only acts on what your phone sends it.
Tokens in the Keychain, not on a server.
The credentials that connect your Google accounts are stored in your device’s Keychain — not on our servers.
We count taps, never your calendar.
Any usage we measure is limited to actions and counts — that a launch happened, that a focus session started — tied to a pseudonymous identifier, and never the contents of your calendar. We store it in our own backend rather than handing it to a third-party analytics company. It’s on by default; you can opt out anytime in Settings, and for the EU/EEA it’s off until you opt in.
Apple handles the money; we don’t see your card.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple. Apple doesn’t share your name, email, or payment details with us — we receive only anonymized subscription information.
